Africatown Connections Blueway Collaboration Workshop Kick-Off

Members of the Groundwork Mobile County team participated in the kickoff workshop for the Africatown Connections Blueway. The goal of the workshop was to bring community members together with likeminded interests in wanting to develop a water-based trail to promote and enhance awareness of Africatown.

This workshop also introduced the founding of the Africatown Heritage Preservation Foundation Inc. We are excited to be a partner in this groundbreaking effort and look forward to the launch of the trail.
